11.  THE KINGDOM OF THE MESSIAH

(From the Scriptures)

"The God of Heaven will set up a Kingdom which shall never be destroyed, and His Kingdom shall not be delivered up to another people, (e.g. the Muslims) and it shall break in pieces, and shall consume all (other) kingdoms, and itself shall stand forever." (Daniel 2:44)

"I (Daniel) gazed into the visions of the night, and I saw, coming on the clouds of heaven, one like a son of man. (Luke 21:27) On him was conferred Sovereignty, glory and Kingship; and men of all peoples, nations and languages became his servants. His Sovereignty is an eternal Sovereignty which shall never pass away, nor will his empire ever be destroyed." (Daniel 7:13,14 – written between 167-164 BC. See also: Daniel 7:27 & Mark 14:61,62)

"And He was clothed in a garment all sprinkled with blood and His name is called 'The Word of God'; and He has on his garment and on His thigh a name written: 'King of Kings and Lord of Lords.' " (Apocalypse 19:13,16)
"He is The Word of God." (Apocalypse 19:13; Article 12, John 1:1-14)
"He is the (Sacrificial) Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." (John 1:29,36) "The Lamb ...is Lord of Lords and King of Kings." (Apocalypse 17:14; 19:16)
"He shall reign in the house of Jacob forever. And of His Kingdom there shall be no end." (Luke 1:32,33 - the Angel Gabriel speaking to the Virgin, Mary.)

"My Kingdom is not of this world." (John 18:36) "For this I was born and came into this world; to bear witness to the truth, and all who love the truth listen to My voice." (John 18:37) "No one can come to the Father except by Me." (John 14:6)

"Fear not little flock, for it has pleased your Father to give you a kingdom." (Luke 12:32)
"...and the kingdom with its greatness and power will be given to the saints..." (Daniel 7:27)
"All authority is Mine in heaven and on earth. (Matthew 28:18) "I give to you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven, what you bind on earth is to be considered bound in heaven and what you loose on earth is to be considered loosed in heaven. (Matthew 16:18)
"The gates of hell shall never prevail against you because I will be with you all days until the end of the world." (Matthew 16:18; 28:20; also see Daniel 7:27)
"The law and the prophets were until John (the Baptist); since that time (of the Messiah) the kingdom of God is preached....." (Luke 16:16) "Who hears you, hears Me." (Luke 10:16)

"You have redeemed us, O Lord, in Your Blood, out of every tribe and tongue, and people and nation, and have made us to our God a kingdom." (Apocalypse 5:9,10) This kingdom, not of this world, is The Kingdom of the Messiah, acting in the world in the Church founded by Him to act in His Name, and given to exercise His own authority (Matthew 16:18; 28:18-20) 'till the end of the world'. No other 'religion' may ever rise to supplant it. It will last till the end of time and 'it shall consume all others'. (Daniel 2:44)
